Which modes does SleepOne Bilevel Auto work in?
SleepOne Bilevel Auto has three modes: CPAP, Auto Bilevel Constant and Auto Bilevel Variable. In the automatic modes, the physician sets the minimum EPAP, maximum IPAP, pressure support, Ti Min and Ti Max values.
How does Auto Bilevel Constant mode work?
SleepOne Bilevel Auto adjusts the IPAP pressure automatically and sets EPAP according to the pressure support setting. The difference between IPAP and EPAP stays constant.
How does Auto Bilevel Variable mode work?
In Auto Bilevel Variable mode, the minimum and maximum pressure support are also set. SleepOne Bilevel Auto adjusts the IPAP and EPAP pressures separately; the pressure support varies.
In both automatic modes, SleepOne Bilevel Auto responds to apnea, snoring, hypopnea and an increase in respiratory effort (RERA).
How is triggering adjusted on SleepOne Bilevel Auto?
The inspiratory trigger is adjustable within a flow range of 2-20 L/min. The expiratory trigger is 10-60% of the inspired flow.
Flow rounding for the IPAP and EPAP transitions is adjustable between 0 and 5.
